So...this is another desert post.
BUT this time- I was so excited to go somewhere new in the desert...Pioneertown
Pappy and Harriet's is a place I've heard about...but didn't make a trip to until now, and I'm so glad I did. First of all, this place is so hip. I mean, take me to a place with mismatched animal heads hanging on the walls, and offbeat art, and I'm happy camper.
We saw Best Coast and The Lovely Bad Things perform in this cramped, dark room but I wouldn't have it any other way. The rustic charm of this place is undeniable, and would love to explore it more in the future. If you're a lover of good people, good music, and those hipster hats (you know which ones I'm talking about)- making a trip out to Pappy and Harriet's is a must.
Another first for me this trip to Joshua Tree was taking our new van- aka: Hansel. We are in the process of fixing Hansel up, so this was his first real trip out. He drove great and the trip was a success!
