This was another one of those perfect LA summer nights, the weather was PERFECT, we picnicked on vintage and spanish style blankets, and we drank boxed wine out of plastic wine glasses. Not to mention we were watching The Virgin Suicides (one of my favorite movies and books of all time) with hundreds of others in the darkness and awesomeness of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
This is the kind of event that you HAVE TO DO if you live in LA, it's just, very necessary. It's mostly just picnicking and drinking, then moving to your seat on the grass in front of the big screen, then picnicking and drinking again- then watching an amazing movie outdoors, and snuggling up with blankets and pillows. We were able to keep all our stuff in my friend Delta's shopping cart, which she refers to as her "buggie". I thought it was funny and embarrassing at first, but now I want one and need one- so, I obviously didn't know what I was talking about. We snacked on crackers, cheese, and salami- and for dessert had some strawberry shortcake in mason jars (SO CUTE! Thanks Delta!!). Another perfect LA night for the books.
